Funeral home going services for DR. Malinda Sapp held on Thursday sept.16th 2010 at the Resurrection Life church, Grand Rapids Michigan. The lovely wife of famous gospel musician and singer as well as Pastor Marvin Sapp, Malinda, got spiritual tributes and prayers from several celebrities and community leaders present at the services like reeve, Jesse Jackson, Kirk Franklin and thousands of more local pastors. Marvin himself performs a part of his hit song as a tribute to his wife “here I am” Which on death bed was acclaimed as her song by Malinda herself.
Lady Malinda was suffering from colon cancer from long struggling duration of eighteen months. Her painful struggle comes to an end on 9th September. Large crowd assembled at Malinda Sapp’s funeral when thousands of people attended the funeral service on Thursday for the late wife of Grand Rapids gospel singer, Marvin. Other music artists perform at home going services are Karen Clark Sheard, Donnie MccClurkin and Israel Houghton. All these artists also tributed their songs at the Grand Rapids Church Michigan.
The crowd in the podium was filled with tears, shouts and tributes for joy of Lady Malinda Sapp funeral. BISHOP I.V. Hilliard. Of new light Christian Centre of Houston Tex. performs a eulogy saying “God is able to bring comfort through the prayers of his people,” he addresses in half hour. Initially, further he added “she (Malinda) has got promotion, and we are not going to deny her.”
Gospel star singer addresses the crowd with raised hands while walking along the casket. Rev. Marvin L. Winans, a pastor of perfecting Church Detroit among thousands of o pastors present also paid his tribute. He was presiding along at the home going service. Reve, Jesse, Jackson; a Sapp family friend also addressed a tribute by saying “this is test of our faith.”He was along with Marvin during the whole home going service. Three children of Late Malinda Sapp out of three also paid there tributes with Father Marvin by reading poem “Footprints of the sand”. The Sapp’s family Marvin Sapp and two children also designated a substantial contribution to the Grand Rapids Ellington Academy of Art and Technology Michigan…
Thousands of people, local officials, celebrities, pastors and Gospel music artists throughout the whole country were admitted to tears at the Grand Rapids resurrection Church. Kevin Belk, chief Grand Rapids police, and Orchestra Music Director David Lockington, Grand Rapids symphony, also paid there tributes and prayers for the joy of lady Malinda. Rev Jesse had also paid tribute to Malinda Sapp.
